The CNC Ready To Brake Master Cylinder is an evolution of all the existing masters on the market: the passive stroke of the braking process is massively reduced, in all distances, without any adjustment needed, making this Master Cylinder the Most "Ready to Brake" ever. Its Shark Design makes it unique in its style. Its fixing riser, not only it is offset to reduce the movement of the master cylinder during the braking process but it also has a quick release jumper.

The Master is Provided with an integrated brake light switch, still keeping a light Weight. Like all the Accossato Radial Brake Master Cylinders, the Ready To Brake Master Cylinder is fully Made in Italy, the screws are made in stainless steel, The bleed valve is in zinced steel and the seals are made with Formula 1 compound.

The PRS ready to brake Billet master cylinder, features Accossato's patented PRS adjustment system - this allows an adjustable lever ratio, with a cammed pivot pin, to keep the Pushrod perpendicular with the piston, for reduced side loading, drag, and increased feel and performance, unlike competitors adjustable ratio master cylinders which move the pushrod out of alignment when the ratio is adjusted.

CNC machined from a single piece of solid 7075 Alloy billet. the CNC machining process allows for super critical tolerances, to give superior sealing properties, which particularly show up during hard track use. the Lever is adjustable for distance from the bar, and also lever length (the lever is segmented, segments can be added or removed)

We at TBR have tested a large variety of master cylinders, from all major brands, with championship winning racers in the UK club circuit scene, and this is not only the best performing master cylinder in it's class, it's is the best value for money

We recommend the 19x18 ratio as a starting point for all aftermarket race calipers, and for all monoblock OEM calipers - there are a few Exceptions with oem calipers that are two piece, bolt together construction. Please use the contact form if you need bike specific advice

  • The differences between a forged master cylinder and CNC master seem insignificant on paper, but are clear on track. There is NO dead lever travel with these master cylinder, the system is pressurised as soon as the lever is pulled with no slop in the system.
  • There is little to zero fade under extreme use - as brake fluid temperature goes up, it's viscosity goes down, and this makes it harder to keep the system fully sealed and pressurised - this is the cause of the common complaint of lever feel getting softer as the race goes on. To combat this, quite often we will see track riders/racers, sacrificing feel, by fitting a firmer lever ratio to the machine - this master cylinder remains constant from lap 1 until the finish, and thus allows a softer lever ratio, more power and more feel without the downside of excessive lever travel

This master cylinder is used in top level racing in BSB (this model master cylinder was on Leon Haslams BSB championship winning superbike!), WSBK and by many other national championship SBK teams.

Note:

Aftermarket master cylinders use a different thread pitch banjo bolt, to OEM master cylinders, remember to add one to your order if needed!
