ACCOSSATO CF011 R&T CLUTCH PERCH & REVOLUTION LEVER

The Accossato CF011 range clutch perch comes with a folding revolution lever and has a threaded hole for fitting an Accossatto clutch switch if needed (clutch switch part No. MI001 in accessories)

The revolution lever is made up from multiple individual segments, segments can be added or removed to alter the lever length, and in the event of a crash, often only the end of the lever gets scraped, and the individual segment can be replaced, making a large saving over the cost of a new lever.

the clutch lever and perch is available in different lever ratios - the distance is measured from the centre of the pivot pin to the centre of the clutch cable nipple hole -

a smaller pivot distance will give a softer clutch operation that requires the lever to travel further to fully disengage the clutch

a larger number will make the clutch harder to pull but requires a smaller distance to operate the clutch and allows the lever to be closer to the bar

If the number is too small for your particular bike, you may experience clutch drag when at a standstill, or in extreme cases difficulties changing down gears when riding if the clutch doesn't disengage adequately

if the number is too large, the lever will be difficult to pull in and cause rider fatigue/arm pump

if you are unsure, measure the distance of your stock setup, and choose the close lever ratio number to the standard setup (a difference of 1 or 2mm in either direction from standard will be safe as long as the stock setup works correctly - and this lets you choose whether you want a slightly softer clutch operation or slightly stiffer - we can advise on more extreme changes if needed
