TBR performance was born from racing, founded by Matthew Wren in 2015, An Engineer in a variety of fields and industries, starting out as a motor vehicle mechanic, working up to senior levels in Engineering design, both mechanical and electrical, on machinery from particle accelerators at Culham research, to OEM engine assembly robotics at Honda HUM, he has extensive knowledge in machinery design & control.
In 2018 Anthony Smith joined - Masters in motorsport Engineering, his entire career dedicated to race Engineering on both cars and bikes, Ex McLaren race engine builder, extensive race support experience and with an acute eye for detail, you can be sure his work is done to the highest standards in industry
In 2022 the team has grown again, with Luke Wallington on board as Dyno operator & Suspension service technician and BSB mascot!
We are the official Race suspension support for Bemsee race club since 2019 - we also sponsor the TBR thunderbikes Ultra championship!
We have supported riders to winning many championships and podiums at Bemsee, and will continue to do so!
Bemsee is the largest and oldest club in the UK, established for over 100 years, with the best medical support, and Rookie racer program in the country.
